The Texas Longhorns thought they had it in the bag. Who wouldn't, being undefeated and number one in the nation? Coming up against the number five team, Notre Dame, perhaps they were a little too confident. About 20 minutes into this classic game, it is clear that Notre Dame has done their homework, as they take control of the ball six times and overpower the Longhorns with their unbelievable running power. Fighting Irish who score are Dave Reeve, Terry Eurick (who, unbelievably, scored twice within a couple of minutes), the incomparable Joe Montana, and Vagas Ferguson. This great game is accompanied by pre-game and post-game footage, including inspiring starting lineup intros by Don Criqui and an interview with Notre Dame's head coach Dan Devine.
