This warmhearted comedy takes place in a household completely dominated by Durga Bhatnagar (Aruna Irani), an imposing matriarch who`s desperate for a grandson and heir. Her youngest son, Bharat (Govinda), finally becomes a father--but the baby is yet another girl. To preserve his mother`s fading health, he borrows the son of his best friend (Johnny Lever) and passes the child off as his own. Keeping up the ruse, however, proves more difficult than he expected.
